The South African CSI Business Week is a four-day exhibition, conference and awards week that seeks to answer all your questions and cannot be missed by anyone serious about doing CSI in South Africa post Covid-19.

CSI Business Exhibitions

The exhibition showcases the innovative and exciting new ideas and programmes that have emerged from NGOs and social entrepreneurs since the advent of Covid-19. Over the four days, CSI practitioners, government and NGOs will be exposed to a wide range of programmes and projects and will have the chance to really examine possible collaboration efforts.

This is a ‘buyer meets seller’ platform, giving government, NGOs and funders a chance to meet and discover shared values and vision.

This conference is a continuation of the 2019 meeting of CSI minds, who met to charter a way for CSI to develop the South African Localised Sustainable Goals.  The conference will be addressing issues such as

  • tried and tested vs innovative,
  • the education and healthcare crises,
  • how CSI programmes can be made more self-sustaining, and
  • partnering with government and education institutions for greater impact.

CSI Legacy Awards

The CSI Legacy Awards honours and showcases South African corporates, CSI practitioners, government programmes, NGOs and other stakeholders in development who have conducted outstanding work in line with the South African CSI Vision 2050. Judges will be looking for programmes and projects that demonstrate outstanding methodologies, break new ground in some way, and have had real impact in a variety of sectors. There will be several categories, so there is scope for all.
